In 1977 Carl started his landscaping business in Ontario Canada.

While it is commonly known that cobble stone or brick walkways and roads have been used for centuries it was not until the 1960's that mass production of bricks for residential and commercial use started in Europe. The idea started to grow rapidly.

In 1969 a company called Unilock brought some brick molds to Canada and started producing interlocking paving bricks/paverstones. Early in the landscape field Carl discovered the emerging art of interlocking paverstone design. He soon made the switch from landscape to hardscape to become one of the pioneers of paverstone design instillation.

While in Canada, Carl perfected his skills by installing pavers for public parklands, hospitals, condominiums, restaurants and other businesses along with private homes.

Carl brought his expertise to Georgia in 1996 while the field was just becoming available to the home owner. PROFESSIONAL PAVING STONE AND DESIGN provides top-notch design and installation of Paver Stones and interlocking Stone Retaining walls. Carl does not contract out to other companies, he oversees each job himself.
